NAME BADGE
Name badges can be collected at the hospitality desk during opening hours. Your name badge gives you access to the congress and exhibition area and lunches 3 days. If you are signed up for any social events, your name badge is your entry ticket.

There are different codes on your badge indicating the different social events: 

RH = Rockheim // SD = Speakers’ Dinner // CW = City Walk // NC = Nidarosdomen Concert // WR = Welcome Reception //  ND = NFOG Dinner

A coloured sticker indicates that you are registered for the event. 

 

 

APP
The congress has an app which gives you access to the program, abstracts, practical information and more.
How to get the app?
1. Search “AppInConf Conference & Events” in the App Store or Google Play. Download the app.
2. Open the app and press on the + symbol
3. Enter the code: nfog2023
4. Your congress app is ready for use.

The app will be continuously updated. 

PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATE
You will receive an email before the congress start so you can get a participation certificate at the end of congress, in case you need one.

YOGA
The congress offers yoga class at the hotel. Room «VEGA»

Feel free to bring your own yogamat, otherwise there are a some available to borrow. First come, first served.
Free of charge – registration is needed beforehand. You will receive an email before the congress start to sign up (important: limited availability).

Rockheim is Norway’s National Museum of Popular Music. Since the museums’ opening in 2010 there has been a steady stream of visitors eager to learn about this music and its history. Rockheim is located at the harbour in Trondheim. For more information: www.rockheim.no

CITY WALK
Monday August 28 – 17:00 – 18:30

Your guide meets you at the congress hotel for a city walk before ending up at beautiful Nidarosdomen (cathedral).
Wear comfortable shoes.

CONCERT IN NIDAROSDOMEN
Monday August 28 – 19:00 – 20:00 (Important: doors open 18.30)

Nidaros Cathedral is located in the heart of Trondheim. Norway’s national shrine – an ornate Gothic masterpiece. The cathedral is built over the tomb of St. Olav, the Viking king who converted Norway to Christianity and became “Norway’s Eternal King”. Throughout the Middle Ages this was a towering symbol of religious faith and the powerful position of the Church.

WELCOME RECEPTION
Monday August 28 – 20:00 – 23:00

Erkebispegården (The Archbishop’s Palace), next to Nidarosdomen, has a unique place in Norwegian history so the surroundings are very special. We visit one of Trondheim’s most fascinating museums and see archaeological finds from the Archbishop’s Palace. Ever since the end of the 1100s, the Archbishop’s Palace has been an arena for important meetings and grand celebrations.

Finger food and drinks will be served.
Dress code: business casual

NFOG DINNER
Tuesday August 29 – 19:30 – 01:00
Ticket NOK 800 (booked during registration for the congress)
The congress dinner is held at Clarion Hotel Trondheim, the congress hotel.
3 course dinner and drinks will be served.
Dress code: formal

CURRENCY
The official currency in Norway is Norwegian Kroner (NOK)
1 EURO = 11,67 NOK (June 2023)

ELECTRICITY
Norway uses 220 – 240 Vpøt/50Mhz system and two – pin continental plugs, the same as most other European countries.

CONFERENCE LANGUAGE
The official language of the conference is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided.
